An Illumination survey is carried out to evaluate the technical performance or evaluating the efficiency of the existing lightning fixtures installed in the workplace and to compare it with available standards.
Illumination at work plays vital role in maintaining focus and quality of work of an employee. A bad illumination affects the vision and lowers moral of the employee, deteriorating his/ her performance.
Illumination Survey is carried out as per the Indian Standard for Illumination level IS 6665, IS 3646 & Factories Act, 1948.
